Salvation Army Kroc Community Center

OUR MESSAGE REGARDING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Friends of Kroc,

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center always keeps the welfare of our members, guests and staff in mind; consequently, during this current health crisis we will close Tuesday, March 17 until FURTHER NOTICE. We will continue to monitor the situation and announce if the closure will continue beyond that date. Governor Charlie Baker has ordered gatherings, event or activity that brings together 25 or more people be prohibited which includes fitness centers.  Due to the safety and health of our members we totally support this decision.  This closure includes Fitness, Aquatics, Rentals, Events, Kids F.E.A.S.T., and all Programs.

Since its inception in 1865 The Salvation Army has cared for vulnerable individuals providing social services. We will continue to provide social services meeting their basic needs during these challenging days.  The Boston Kroc is currently on standby for Emergency Services working closely with local and state officials which may arise in the upcoming days.

We will keep you posted as changes occur.  Please continue to check our website for more information.

We will continue to keep you, your families and the community in our prayers.

UPDATE: The Boston Kroc Team stepped up to the challenge during these changing days and boxed over 8400Lbs of food distribution for our neighbors.

Worship Services:

We realize that many of you will not be able to attend church this weekend. Here are two online options that I would like to draw your attention to:
  • Massachusetts United Divisional Worship - The Massachusetts Division has put together a united service that includes music from a VIRTUAL Mass Brass, songs, testimonies from around the division, and a message from Major Marcus Jugenheimer. That service can be found here and viewed at any time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuJyLPVQ8HU&feature=youtu.be
